dr200 cafe conversion

I'm a noob here looking for my first project. I've got a 2013 dr200 and I've come to like the dual sport cafe conversions. My question is i know i would basically be stripping it down, old style tank, new seat setup but can this all be done without messing with the frame?

I would look at the TW 200's from tokyo, they have a unique look for dirt bike/cafes

also deus ex machina is an obvious source

to get the look youd work mostly on tank seat, front and rear fender and headlight.

I think the key here is to keep the airbox so that you don't use any function and can still off road, basically I'd leave all the functional stuff alone until you get your build together more

put the battery and electrics inside the airbox if possible here's a post of someone doing this on the xr650l

as for the subframe, either cut off all the things you dont need or take a subframe from a different bike. i know the dirt model dr 350 subframe is pretty minimal with no place for passenger pegs. i dont know about the dr 200
