I personally like the weeds sticking out from the helmet into the video frame.

Glad you were able to get back up so quickly. There appeared to be a lot of trees waiting to break your fall.

I kept watching it to catch a glimpse of the bike vs. where you laid. Couldn't tell...but it looked like about 12 paces to get back to the bike?

Nice bounce!

The weeds sticking out from your helmet is a nice touch, hehehe.

Got a good look at the front fender as you went over.

it is hard to see, but the road was rutted pretty good... and my attention was on filming my friend in front of me. front catching, came off the throttle some which put my weight forward... thats all she wrote. the 500 could sense that my attention was not all on her, and she was having non of it.

I was going to post my own face plant story, but saw this. Add a bunch of new gravel to a fire road off US 129, too steep hills and wah lah: same wreck at same speed. When I came over second hill:
1) My front wheel caught a rut that made me go left OR
2) In my little wheelie clearing the hill, I landed the front tire pointing a little to the left. I just know my thought process was "I'll just shift back to the right WHOA I'm Flying"!!!
My mirror caught my left elbow, hyperextended the crap out of my right thumb from the handgrip, scraped my right knee pretty good off the right mirror. Oh, and I was on a Husky SM610S, with sumowheels and Pilot 3's. Wrong wheels / tires for the terrain I was in. Oh well, me and my friend Paul got a good laugh out of it.

That's why I love riding off road...it's much more forgiving than the pavement!
