Eek You CAN"T do that on a Tiger or Extreme Tiger Antics

We all know Tiger owners are a different bread. Some say we should be locked up in a padded cell, others shake their heads and look the other way, hoping we don't make eye contact. And then theirs the sick bastards that egg us on and challenge us to go places we "have no right" going on a 500 pound dirt bike.

Yup, there it is, I called it a 500 pound dirt bike. So maybe they're really a 500 pound wannabe dirt bike, either way, there are the few, the proud, the demented, that bough a $13,000 800CC, 500+ pound bike, to ride off road and generally beat the snot out of with little to no regard for what others think it is, were we should be or how we should ride it.

Case in point is the awesome Baja Build who is so close to riding an extremely competitive event in on a Tiger. Sure it's highly modified, but it's an inspiration to what the Tiger is under all that shiny paint.

I've been noticing we've been hijacking other threads debating what the Tiger is meant for or is capable of or what we should or shouldn't be doing. So here's my attempt at trying to get Extreme Tiger Antics in one place. Feel free to tell a story, move a debate from another thread, start a discussions or post a picture or two doing something "you have no right" doing or the damage it caused.

Great idea for a thread. Here is a video of my first off road test of my dirt worthy tires. I put a TKC80 in front with the Heidi Scout on the back. Since then its been in some tight places that make this video look like a paved highway.

Snowmobiling with the Tiger XC. Not single track, but riding on ice in deep snow ruts on ANY bike can be exhilarating. Yes, we had to eventually turn around, as this is on the way UP the hill, so would have been difficult on any bike....

Not a trail, but a bad A** Woods Road

DISCLAIMER: If you know where this is, respect the adjoining land owner and DO NOT take the go around. If you can't get up or help each other through the bottom ledges, RUN AWAYYYYYY

The fun really starts at 1:40

Who gives a shit what other riders think. Most of these guys bitching are old weak and cranky. I bought this bike to do everything and I love it.

I'll probably get cranky later in age but for now I just twist throttle and mind my own business

I've been wanting to get some extreme Tiger porn going for a while. The Baja thread hijack pushed me over the edge. Hope this gets a little action, lots of people think it's less than or not a (Insert adjective) bike. I should make a stipulation that at the very least, no pictures of clean bikes allowed

Link didn't load. Try selecting share: embed. Copy and paste that link. Hat's off to you for riding in the snow, Tigers are more temperate creatures

Inspirational

Yee-haw, this is my first ever post on ADV Rider. It seems perfect timing that this thread started on the day I started surfing this site. This is the reason why I bought a Tiger. I wanted something street worthy but also something to get dirty. Sadly, my Tiger has yet to kiss dirt. Living in the urban sprawl of Chicago makes it challenging to find trails. Soon, though. Looking forward to more awesome contributions to this thread.

Well... that fun you mention ends with me falling over in a steep rock garden and cracking my crash bars in half. Yea, so I just got them back from being fixed yesterday.... They are pretty ugly, but it's only going to cost me lunch. If I break them again I might finally break down and buy my own welder. I'll post up some pics once I get a chance.
