2000 Ford Ranger 4.0 4x4 MT

12mpg pulling a 14' trailer

16mpg pulling 3 rail trailer, 3 riders, and a bed\cap FULL of gear.

Does the job. Just not as quickly or comfortably as my dads F150 ecoboost

Here's mine. A 2012 TRD 4x4 5.7Ltr Limited Tundra (bought used). Traded an F150 for it. No regrets, except gas mileage. Only gets 15MPG, much worse when I stomp on it. Truck has level kit and 33"s.

Owned GMC & Ford in past, but Tundra is in a class of its own. Almost bought a NEW GMC---wife has a 2004 Yukon with 179,000 thats been super reliable. However, I wanted a Truck that NONE of my riding buddies have, and I couldn't grab my ankles to buy new. Plus I got a super good deal on the Tundra. Considered the F150 with 5.0, but not as powerful as Tundra. I'm not confident in the Ecoboost...yet.---there's a lot of unhappy owners.

Everyone is trying to accomplish something big, not realizing that life is made up of the little things. ---Frank A Clark

The Good:

The Bad:

The Ugly:

My 2003 F-350. I've got a little over 230,000 miles on it now. Even with everything it's been through: Hurricane Katrina,
hail damage (think golf ball), these two accidents, getting rear ended, it still gets me from point A to B. I know a lot of owners
tend to complain about the 1st year 6.0 L diesel, but I've only had relatively minor problems, all but 2 covered under warranty.
I haven't even had the injectors cleaned yet. And though I curse at it when I'm in a tight parking lot, I'd still rather have this
one than a brand new one.
