Hy, my bike is '94 model. About the bags my friends call my motorcycle "the bus" because of them. About the forward bags are mounted at handmade crash-bar, with the aid of board.

Most of my rides are in the 500 to 1200 kms length and this bike is so easy to live with. Great fuel range and plenty of power.

yes i have bar risers..

simple risers about 2cm and it gives ample clearance for hand guards and cables are just fine.



another TDM friend of mine is having longer extension had he got some issue with error code 19.. or sometime.. bike not able to crank start.. and cables are at maximum tension..

My new to me 92 will be getting taken down to the frame starting next week. Plan to powdercoat or paint everything. Will likely post a few progress pics along the way.

Has anyone ever here ever done a USD fork conversion and rear suspension swap on their TDM? I've been thinking it would be a fun project, putting some KTM950 or similar suspenders on it.

well....back 4yrs ago...there ain't much choice as the TDM is not so popular and very little aftermarket parts....I did modified yoshimura Carbon tri-oval muffler taken from Ducati 996 to fit to the TDM...and since then,never look back or install the stock cans...
Just recently,i got myself a pair of Remus for the TDM...

now...there's many brands to choose...from leovince,beowulf,akrapovic,and many more...

the aftermarket cans are about half the weight of the original cans,and the carbon fibre ones,are far less heaty than the stock,and of coz...they gives more torque bottom end and not to mention,the sound of thunder....it will transform the TDM to a different bike totally...
