About the pics, be my guest

The bike's in great condition, only 14,600 km. When I bought it in 2006 it still had the original tires and only 8,000 km on it.

I've actually got a nice Taira Racing slip-on pipe for it. Gives it a bit of attitude without being too noisy.

Problem is I don't ride it since buying the F650GS. I prefer commuting on the beemer because it's got ABS. If I lived in the countryside I'd throw hardcore knobbies on the Raid and use it for trail riding but being in Tokyo it's not much of an option. Will probably sell it....

Hi Nordf
Nice & svelte looking bike, ideal for commuting to the city and impressing the girls, especially those that think that motorbikes are noisy dirty things (or is that just the owners?).
It looks as if it has Avon Storm tyres on it which I have found very positive in both dry and wet conditions.
Good luck with the bike.

Nice bike except the mile-wide panniers if you have to lane split. I'm putting these on my TDM.
36 liter capacity, only 20cm wide. Similar looking to a Pelican case.

Not available here yet either but there is a company in Italy that'll ship a pair to my door for around 260 euros.

The TDM must be coming up for a revision, has there been any snippets of info coming out? I'm still riding a late model 850 and would be over the moon if they gave the new model a 19" front wheel and upgraded front suspension to go with it.

What else would a new model ideally have ?

A 17'' front wheel, USD forks and a 1,200cc motor
