Incredible.
Looks like actual civilization, as opposed to the roadside crap we see here in the US!
How do you people survive without fastfooled hog troughs at every intersection? And where are the mega conveeeenience store/gas stations blighting your landscape? Wish I were there... Don |

Hi Hladek
Those pictures are absolutely great, you are obviously quite professional with the camera, what camera are you using? I notice you were also doing a bit of light trail work which together with what looks like super weather must have made a great riding holiday.

Well, I have finally gone and done it, I have ordered 2 Avon Distanzia's, the 110/80-18 will be mounted backwards on the front!
It has taken me quite some time to come around to this way of thinking. I would just keep on searching, hoping something more approriate would pop up... mixing speed ratings, bias & radial, tubes & tubeless, backs on the front, different brands... it has all had my head spinning. So I just did it. I will post report when I get them both mounted and rolling....

G'day TDMers,
I've just put a deposit on an '98 850 ex Jim at Freshwater (Harbord) in Sydney. ![]() I just couldn't stand being bike-less for so long (since I wrote of Betty Blue, the k6 Wee Strom in March). Any chance of a hard knobbie tyre that'll fit the front?? (Don't wanna braek a leg on way into TTT Rally again).

tdm900 suspension
hello...
Has anyone changed the original suspension setup for the bike? The manual says that the suspension can be changed for it to be a little softer. I this the ride on this bike is a little harshor rough terrain, speccially when you compare it to a gs1200. any thoughts?
