I had a nasty thought last night. If the TDM evolved from the Super Tenere which was then dropped...........if the Super Tenere is re-introduced (as many people wish) does that mean the end of the TDM ??

Can you tell the differance between the two? Don't they both have the same engine? If they would bring either one back to the US, I really have to think about putting one in my garage.

The super tenere had proper off-road capability, longer suspension 21" front wheel etc, a modified bike based on this won the Paris-Dakar back in 199?

Welcome to the group! I haven't heard about anyone running on Saharas, should you do it reverse the running direction.

Hi Hladek, that seat looks real cool & I guess it also keeps you in position under hard aceleration & braking? Was it expensive?

TDM trip

Hi TDMrs

In 5 days we will start our trip from Bogota, Colombia to Buenos Aires Argentina. 10.600 Kms

3 TDMs ABS, 1 Vstrom, 1 GS1200R.

The 3 TDMs are leading in the "trouble free" board, since the GS and Vstrom have had problems just a few days before departure.

Please drop by and keep up to date with our trip!

Hello
Yesterday factory informed me that seat is on the way.
Cost 280€ (gel filled ) shipment included. I think is reasonable price.

Barbarella has her own Facebook Page. "Barbarella de los Rios". Add her as a friend and enjoy.

Bluhduh long time - no write/no ride....

Hi there,

just a few lines from Germany.
I completed the 100.000 km on my Dicke a few day ago. Just took her out for a 50km ride around the block to charge the batt. It stood since the TÜV (German equivalent of the MOT) in early September, so I had to push it.
Last Thursday I put on new tyres: Conti Road Attack. I'm quite interested, how long they will last.
Total distance in this year: 1150km, of which I rode 650 on one day on ye olde XT on a nice trip do Belgium.
So this year was a complete desaster in the riding department...let's see what the next year will have in store for me.

Glückauf and happy holidays from the Bergisches Land. Ride safe.

It was the last ride for the year, so it had to be a big one

Well! ..... for those that missed it ...... can I tell you ...... it was "The Big One" ....... over 10hrs in the saddle, less a bit here & there for relief and over 450kms covered at a clean, crisp, flowing, brisk pace that kept a huge smile on ya face & the heart pumping ................. even thumping a few times, with that accompanying nice warm gooey sensation on the seat

Everyone had an absolutely fantastic ride ...................................well! .................errr! except?

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415435

Enjoy!

Safe New Year guys
