So......

I tried to determine when the wedding was. It sure looked like you had a great time. Is this ride the honeymoon?

I'll do a mini RR in each region. We'll be starting and ending here.
Each region will be linked together as we ride throughout the country.
No real plan or schedule. Take it day by day and see where the less traveled roads lead us.

After the PNW the ride goes to The Rockies

Then to the Texas and Gulf States region

Then the Southeast.

Then the Northeast.

I'm in for the ride report!

Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your special day, Mr Dual Sport!
One of the sweetest, most fun and beautiful weddings we've ever been to! The ceremony itself almost had me in tears it was so perfect

Here's to the beginning of your lovely adventure together, for the next 30 days and beyond!

A few shots from the real beginning of the adventure…

These posts from the road will be short and sweet.
In McGill, NV waiting for a burger right now, headed to Utah next. Just got a fun sounding route from the cafe owner!

Bagging the Xcounty idea and going to spend a month roaming the mountains of NV, UT, CO, MT, and ID.

First day entering ID. Stayed the first night in Silver City

Silver City. Really cool place and tons of great riding.

They had beer!

We spent yesterday on way to much slab and got bored out of our minds. Before Elko, NV we decided that wasn't how we wanted to spend the whole month, droning out on pavement.

Found a great campsite south of Elko somewhere by the Ruby's.

Leaving camp

Great ride out

In McGill posting this!

Well thank the beer gods!!
Off to a great start, cool little rustic towns, i look forward to tracking these places on my map.
Staci, there's a couple of reasons why only girls can sit side saddle:
1: they look beautiful posing that way &
2: if I sat that way...my horse would fall over!

LOL I'm glad we decided when we did too!

After lunch yesterday we fueled up and headed east toward cave lake.

It was a great ride through this 40 mile loop that brought us to highway 50 east of Ely, NV

Took 50 east to Great Basin NP, found a couple of dirt shortcuts along the way. Then highway 12 into Utah yesterday.

Camped last night on one of the passes. 75 miles of slab to Milford, UT where we're having breakfast right now. Saw 3 cars the entire way between last night and this morning.

Camp.

Found some cool ovens on the way into town this morning

And some old telegraph lines

And now having breakfast at Penny's Diner in Milford.

Headed to Beaver next, then up into the mountains!

I'll be posting up in the Rockies region now. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=986224
