Great race by Dovi, who now overtakes JLo on championship points. (Wth, Jorge..???)
You have to wonder if the inexperience of Rossi's crew chief isn't showing. I'd expect Rossi makes the final call but perhaps the strong counterbalance he had was missed today? And did I hear his poor Q performance was in part due to a bad tire choice too?

No doubt about it, Marquez is forcing desperate errors in his dominant wake. All the pressure is behind him.

Did anyone followed the race on BT Sports?
At a certain point one of the commentators, in the heat of the race, mistakingly called Rossi "Fogarty"... Hilarious!

I wonder if Honda put it in Marquee's big bucks 2015/6 contract that he HAS to race the Suzuki 8 hours?

Alex Marquez is starting to show his stuff in Moto3, could be that he really is the fast brother. I can't believe Fenati made such a bonehead move after he knew Miller crashed.

That was funny.

But Keith Huewen makes me long for Toby Moody.

It wouldn't have impacted the final standings, but I have to wonder why every rider--and particulalry someone like Rossi--doesn't seek to maximize their advantage through the pit stops. That's the easiest 1/2-full second you'll ever get in race at this level.

Something is definitely not right in Lorenzo land.
Even with this race being such a lottery, I would not have picked JLo to finish so far back.
Has he ever had a worse result in a MotoGP race that he has finished?

He has never been a great qualifier as I remember, but between the two events it certainly impacted the final standings. Starting from 12th no doubt influenced the gamble to start with the wrong tire. Rossi ran fastest lap on several laps, so he had a great shot for somewhere on the podium vs. 5th.

Marquez and team have the pit stop dialed - something else Rossi chuffed.

Just got to watch the stream of MotoGP. Quite the drama queen of a race. Rossi comes in after the sighting lap swaps bikes and heads out at the back. Charges forward.
Marc and Dovi go hammer and tongs at the front.
Aliex fades to fight with Dani.
Meanwhile everybody stirs the pot swapping form slicks to wets and back?
I lost track.
The best shot of the cool down was the slow motion of Dovi and Marc. You can see the huge smile on Dovi's face in his eyes.
These guys are having a blast.

Very cool.
Lorenzo ??
Rossi looked on fire, but it was too far away. Aliex almost.

Good racing.

if anyone had a slightest chance against MM @ Assen, Vale seemed to be that guy. But he managed to screw up twice: qualifying, and the start with slicks thing. Against Marquez, there is simply no room for even one screw-up.

But Vale - again - beats his team-mate by a comfortable margin. The same team-mate, who last year rode a heroic race at Assen right after surgery, now he was nowhere. I wonder what JLo's thinking atm.

A big thanks to Jonathan Green for announcing the winner of the Moto 3 race to all the Fox Sports 1 viewers at the end of the race. Thanks a lot Jonathan!
