I was with the 3/5 Cav in Vietnam 1969. When I got there our base camp was Camp Evans. We operated from the A Shau Valley to the DMZ. We were attached to the 101st for a while. We sometimes set up on firebases to guard artillery units.

Mine had a speedometer. I put a bunch of miles on that scooter. It road well and never seemed dangerous. Of course at 14 years old in 1958 I was happy to have anything.

Thanks for guarding us. Maybe that is why I am still here. I was on FB Eagles Nest, Rendevous, Rakkasan and Barbara (ARVNs) and of course Camp Evans.

My 09 TMAX
[IMG]
[/IMG]Hope this worked. What am I doing wrong? How do I post big pics? I'm just experimenting trying to get in the groove. Notice the missing Tmax mirror? Did that bringing it home. The strap buckle let go of the tension. Probably my fault. I had the strap thru the wrong side. Da. |

There are 8 guys who work at our shop. 5 of us are motorcyclist's. This is where we park. If this was July and sunny, you would see 5 bikes parked here.
![]() Today there was only one. It was 27 degree's this morning and the PCX did get loose on some ice in one curve. And the parking lot still had ice but it all melted today. So far so good on the PCX. I do have a taller windscreen on order. I have 110 miles on it and have yet to fuel it. Dealer had it full when I bought it. ![]() On the way home from work yesterday, I hit a new GPS top speed. 63mph down a big hill.
