I took the Silver Wing to South Bend to see my brother. The weather was in the high 90's up and a blast through a deluge of rain, lightning hail and wind on the return. If it doesn't kill you it will make you better LOL 500 miles RT.

Taken soon after my first ride on her, my first motorbike since I was a kid a couple decades ago.

She needs a few things, the brake and throttle cables are mushy, the throttle doesn't return and over the decades she lost her engine guard. But on the plus note if I wanted to mess with the dual sprocket she's a 16 speed, the engine is from a k1 and has "the lever"... the lowest range would be ridiculous, she already crawls in low 1 on the small sprocket.

greetings everyone! I saw a battle scooter forum and had to join. I am a long term SouthBayRiders recent detachee (quit for sanity reasons).

I wanted to share some info about the scootering world and hopefully learn some things I haven't seen before!

This is the DethScoot. its a resurrected 88CH250 Elite that some friends and I have turned into a hideous creation of sick and twisted use. this thing is a beast and honestly my favorite bike in my collection of all things moto. its never backed away from a challenge and survives all of the evil we throw at it. its a constantly evolving machine and we just adore it.

after a year of sitting due to lack of use, we fired the beast back up for some fun.

its ugly, its mean, and its ridiculously fun to ride. hope to see you around!

PS: I am the big guy in yellow.

Crappy cell phone pic with my 2 scoots. The yellow Reflex in the garage was sold to my uncle who is now riding it in Florida. The Jog in the background is still mine. Its bone stock, does 43mph with me (@230lbs).
I bought the Jog to let my girlfriend ride next to me on the TW, but it was a poor choice. The thing nearly threw her off twice.

My bike rack, with room to carry cycling clothes, shoes, helmet, water bottles and other misc. items.

Does not obstruct brake lights & turn signals, still keep a slim profile to split lanes:

Are you a good mechanic?
Are you lucky?
Breakdowns or trouble?

George
If you're a good mechanic, give it a thorough inspection on delivery and follow the break in proceduresthey can actually turn out pretty well.
