Thats a beauty. I've got a 94 Helix I bought new in 95 with 65698 miles and its been in storage the last 6 years. That scooter will run forever with just regular oil changes etc.

I just brought home my first scooter too, a 2008 BV250 that only had 850 miles on it.

Wow, I should have done this years ago...so much fun. I have a feeling my F650 Dakar may collect dust except for rides that include motorcycle-camping or lots of off-pavement time. For everything else, the Piaggio is a blast. It comfortably cruises at 60-65 and I hit 75 (GPS indicated) on a short stretch of interstate with zero drama. But even better, it's so easy to ride around town for errands: trips to the gym, the store, the post office, the library, etc...I love it.

Scoots are easy things to fall in love with! Now you are hooked!

My guess is you may find even motorcycle camping is more fun on a scoot! Check out my thread on off roading .
