Found on Flickr!

This isn't my picture or my scoots, but I found it on Flickr by accident,
figured it was worth posting and the owner wouldn't mind.

It is linked to his account.

Aaah, a vespa in the Florida keys w/ a 6 pack of coronas...all that's missing from that pic is a couple of key limes for the cervezas.

Here's a few from test rides (I used to review bikes for a local newspaper):

2010 Piaggio Beverly (BV) 300 when it came out:

2011 Kymco People 300 GTi:

Peugeot Satelis 500 (492cc Piaggio Master engine):

Peugeot Geopolis 400 (also a Piaggio Master engine):

I aways liked the specs on those. A flat-torque-band Master engine in a "conventional" scooter style, with a decent 14L fuel tank and bigger wheels, but not much of a weight penalty. I spose the People GTi 300 will do everything the same, but just a bit better though?
(since you've ridden both? )

Those two are as close as it gets, even the performance is about equal.

The People will get up to 60mph a bit faster (about a second), and
Geopolis will accelerate faster from 80 to 95mph. People will get a
few more MPG though.

Wind protection is better on the Geopolis (probably the best stock windscreen
on any bike I tried), and the chassis on Geopolis seems a bit stiffer for
spirited riding.

However, there were some reliability issues with the Geopolis/Satelis
line (electronics), but I don't remember the specifics.

They look stunning tho.
