Oh, I don't know about that - it's a scooter and in that obvious series of eses he's probably clipping the apexes to straighten the line a little, as in the red line in this diagram:

It was early in my trip, I was rusty and riding like crap. I did apex way too early. Typically when I'm rusty I tend to turn in too early. Since I was not pushing it, it wasn't a problem. Here's how it turned out:

Not from where he is in the photo I posted.
And you don't go about taking different lines 'because it's a scooter'.

When I posted that pic, I wanted to see if anyone would notice the early apex. Good to see someone in this forum knows about proper lines through curves.

And here I was just trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Croatia is beautiful! I was in Zagreb for just a few days back in 2002. Wish I had my bike then. Thanks for posting.

I made 3 friends when I took a photo of these ladies at the market and went and made 3 photos and brought back to them. They were laughing and very happy to get the photo:

I haven't posted in here in awhile. Here's a few pics from last time I took the PCX offroading, a few months ago.

Here's the PCX parked on an abandoned loading dock where a warehouse used to be. This is in Dawson Forest, the site of an old government facility that used to do research on open-air nuclear reactors during the Cold War. The reactors were intended for potential use in airplanes. It's all torn down and woods now, but still really cool.

Most of the facility is underground, you never know when you'll run across random concrete in the woods. We stopped here because it was the end of the road, and I ended up walking into the woods to take a leak. I walked over a random patch of concrete in the woods, completely covered in detritus and amidst trees. Time to turn around...

Is it safe to ride on a dirt road with a dog using one hand?

This used to be an elevator shaft. There was a huge hangar and research facility below here, from what I've heard secondhand from people who have read documents on the area or talked to people who worked there. They built much of the facility below the water table and would keep pumps running to keep the water out. The facility was active during the Cold War, so if zee Russians invaded and the research may be compromised, they could shut off the pumps and it would flood. It's all underwater now.

There was a building on the surface though, and there are small pipes connecting down for power and comms. You can drop a rock down and count 1... 2... then hear a hollow splash as it lands in the huge chamber below. There are lots of places where people have tried to dig or smash smash their way in, even though it's flooded. A huge network of tunnels supposedly connects all the various facilities underground (and explains why you'll be in the woods and suddenly realize you're standing on a huge slab of concrete).

This area was supposedly the front of the hangar. The entrance is buried under over 20 feet of dirt. The pic doesn't show it well, but this wall extends for about a hundred feet into the distance. There is no question whether or not there is a large underground portion of the facility; the only speculation is just how extensive the underground area is.

(not sure why this pic shows upside down on my Mac but right side up on my PC) This is the biggest building you can see still. This was supposedly where they would raise an open air reactor up above the forest to test its effects on the environment. A lower area inside the casket contained nuclear samples, where they could experiment on them. The cask is enormous.

There's also a huge pump station for cooling the reactors, an abandoned water treatment plant, a network of above ground rail, among other things. Much of the layout, contents, and research done there is still classified, so a lot is just speculation. I was considering going back with a decent camera, doing some research, and doing a proper ride report. Any interest?
