Here is my 1977 Vespa P200 which contains a P125 engine that has been bumped up to 177cc with a Pinasco kit. The scootersourceinc.com guys put it together for me.

Workbench I found on trash night in Waynesville, Ohio two weeks ago. That sucker must have 40-50 lbs of steel in it. It's solid. On the bench is the powerplant from a '84 Honda Elite 125 which I am going to transplant in to my '85 Honda CH150D Elite.

Pro-stock Elite.

When it was stock (liquid cooled 4 stroke) it did 43-45 mph, but took awhile to get there.

Then I added a variator and H.O. cam and it went to 47 mph.

In October a 58cc big bore kit was added and it now hits 52 mph in a tuck. Not earth shattering performance, but it is a lot of fun and doesn't look like anything else really.

I always admire the range of mechanical modification, restoration, and manipulation you guys can do to a scooter. My own limitations (mental and skill) as a mechanic have kept my own mods to things like dirt and scratches added while riding.

Here is a shot of the Vespa GTS last weekend during a ride in one of the big State Forests here in Pennsylvania. Slowly the Vespa and I are getting more comfortable on the loose limestone gravel roads so prevelant here. I can comfortable cruise along at 30 MPH now....

Vespasfw3, that's a beautiful picture. I noticed the tripod still on the back of your scooter, but the pic came out nicely.

Oz Fun

Here's one from my ride yesterday, stopped at a riverside park that had sign with so many "don't do's" on it I thought a change reflecting my relaxed mood would best suit it...
Lovely day: 250 kms of winding roads, a bit of drizzle along the way - cool and occasionally sunny, the Nexus 500 left a few centre-stand lines on some of the bends handles like a dream too!
Got around 2000kms on it now, had it a month - love it more each time I ride it

Picked it up for $usd9272.00 (at todays rate), nice red, seems to rev hard, I can see why the belts go at 6000, but then my rear tkc80 on the GS only lasts 3500miles, so it's all in the price of fun....

Here's some other views - I love it!!! (can you tell?? )

my Green Goat

Today is the first that I've checked out this thread...

Had to post in respect of the Green Goat.
Got her a few years ago off a farm in MO. 1274 original miles. I was the third owner. 1973 C70 Honda.

Had to sell her this spring...along with the red 1980 Suzuki Rascal, AND my '92 K75S...to get the GS.

Sad to see the Goat go....but DAMN am I happy with the GS...

I love your RV125, the new ones are cool.

I have a 72 that I rebuilt over the winter. Here she is in all her glory amidst the crazy 2-stoke collection.
