No flaming needed... I'd have bought it for $400 delivered too! Nice find :)

Have really enjoyed my Vino 125. One thing to consider, though, is the very inconvenient placement of the gas cap which is behind the seat under the rear rack. My basket is attached with zip ties and bungee cords so I can access it.

The house is Eudora Welty's, FYI, for you literary folks!

Cool; I love Eudora Welty.

Gas cap placement on scooters is often stupidly inconvenient. My old Honda Met had great placement...under the floorboard, so no matter what was strapped to the back, the front or the seat, I could still fill up. Mind you, I never got going very fast

And where did you get the scooter for $400 delivered?

Actually it was $425.00 with liftgate delivery, I bought it on E-bay, the seller I bought it from shipped from Nebraska, here in SC there is no registration, tag or insurance required, no MC endorsement needed either. It runs really well, tops out at 40 after some jetting changes, and replacement and performance parts are plentiful and cheap.

I know I am late to the party, but I just bought my first scoot, actually I should say "our" first scoot as this is suppose to be our wedding present to ourselves! The Mrs. swears she will now get her M endorsement, but we shall see. In the mean time, I am having a blast on it. All of 50 miles so far. But we have only had it 3 days and it rained on one of them. I forsee many more grins to come.

Keep us updated in another thread.

I spent a while looking at one at our local dealer and was pretty impressed with the size and fit&finish, but I'm curious to see how the motor is post break in. The dealer's model had all of 15 miles on it so he had no real idea of what it would ride like.

Here's my scoot on the way home from the RBSC rally. I was riding home with a group of 12 scooters that was half 150's and half 250-300 scoots. The the larger ones had to stop and wait for the slower 150's as we went over Carson Pass at 8,520 feet. This was taken while we waited for them. The elevation here is about 7,500.

That guy was two-up. Here are some of the other 'loaded' scoots in the group on the way home. There was one other scoot that was loaded front and back.

My New Pitster Pro Classic 125 CT70 Clone

Her she is being assembled in the back of my truck yesterday. Finished her later and took her for a ride. She runs and rides just fine.
