Here is mine

It started life as a lowly single speed 25 mph scooter. It is a 1989 EliteE.

I swapped in a dio motor with 86 cc. Will cruise at 50 mph easy and go faster as needed. I have all the fast bits except the pipe tucked in. I have read where some say that some riders have had their fifty's over 70mph. With a 3" front brake and spindly front forks, this bike is at it's limits. It weighs 129 pounds.

After riding motorcycles for 35 years. It is spooky to go that fast on 10" wheels with a short wheelbase. Still a great get around bike.

Here's a recent Craigslist find. I've been wanting one for a long time and just couldn't pass it up. Tons of fun!

Ha! Nice find. I've been enjoying my '08 when not fretting about the details - the inaccurate gas gauge, the non-functioning speedometer, the recently-failed left-front turn signal... great when just riding it, though.

Milagro what did the guy look like that you got it from (assuming it was a guy)? Looks just like one of my coworker's stella with the rear rack. Gonna have to yell at him if he sold his. (only reason I'm going to yell at him if he sold his is because I love taking it for romps during work )

My friend PhatD has a Big Ruckus. I'm not sure why Honda stopped making them. His is a fine machine. Nice report.

Hey Tindjin,

I bought the Stella with a totally different rack and the guy was ~50 years old. The scooter had 1400 original miles as he just didn't use it as planned.

Not sure if this sounds like the same scoot as you describe.

Have fun,

M.
