![]() My Stella/LML/PX, parked just out of sight of the squatter's camp on the other side of the river there. I've been watching this camp get built up over months as my commuter train passes it by. It's in a bright little valley under power lines, tucked in between the Baltimore-Washington rail line and an abandoned spur into the nearby industrial park, and every day, it's a bit better. The guy's got a tent and a well-built fire pit, a clothesline, beach umbrella, a bench, and a real tidy little home place there on the bank of the river. I've been dying to get a photo for weeks, and I finally went looking today, sneaking through a water treatment plant to get to a grown-over service trail to the storm drain tunnels that run under the tracks. The scoot's a little tentative on swampy ground, but I got there without a mishap. Parked it, worked my way through the brush, and saw the guy sitting by his campfire, reading a book and looking pretty damn contented, and decided not to intrude with my camera. |

The wife is out of town visiting family so I took her Helix and rode up to the Great Southwest Scooter Fiesta. Nice event, the guys did a great job for a first time effort.
Two pics from the route across the Indian Reservation and up to Gilbert, AZ from my house: Catholic mission along the way. From a distance I thought this was a community center because of the elaborate wall art. Turned out to be a water pumping station. More pics from the scooter rally here.

we took a ride from north to middle of Taiwan in 2008, and we met a tank accross the road, it's very funny to compare them.
they said the tanks was served in Veitnam War, veteran tanks. now just like a big toys stand by the road. Is that really Battle Scooter? Ha Ha.. ![]() ![]()

What kind of bigger cylinder did he put in? Performance stuff is hard to come by here for the Elite. All ive done to mine is add a bigger jet and a UNI filter.

Woohoo, picked up my reskinned Ruckus seat from the upholstery shop today. I was going for the pleated '70s style.
![]() ![]() It's been seatless for two weeks now... the guy at the upholstery shop is up to his eyelids in custom hot rods and stuff.
