Sleek. A bit retro, but definitely modern.

Used, but with only 200 km on it. (there's a hint. Speedo in KM)

My daughter has ridden it. :eek Believe it or not. "I'll never ride a motorcycle!" She was scooting all around the parking lot.

Here's the deal. We went "looking" for scooters (yeah, right) this past Saturday. I really wanted to see a Bajaj Cheetak, so off we went to a dealership in Houston.

His shop is full of bikes, but they're all customer maintenance. Apparently, the shop does quite a business.

He had this Malaguti on consignment in front. My wife loved it. Her 1st question: "is this a reputable brand?"

"Sure," I replied. "It's one of the Big 3 Italian brands, along with Vespa and Aprilia."

Her eyes lit up.

"You know, it's gonna be more expensive than a Chinese clone?" I probed.

"I don't care. Bring it on!"

I test drove it.

We thought about it overnight, then went over to the shop on Sunday morning and picked it up.

Notice it's missing an ear.

The mirror is in the shop somewhere. If they can't find it, they'll order a new one.

We paid too much $. But that's ok. She smiles when she rides it.

Oh, I rode it to the gym this afternoon. I had to talk scooter for the 1st 20 minutes before I could exercise.

She looked at me kinda funny, but did it. She now officially knows much more about the bike than I do.
