Experiencing buffeting at speed on a scooter?

Has anyone had problems with wind buffeting at speed while riding their scooter? If so what was the cure?

The buffeting occurs after the surging goes away.

What kind of buffet was being served? I could do finger foods at high speed, but knives and forks would be hard due to my limited dexterity.

At what speed do you experience the buffeting?

If it's buffeting you may want to wear gear that fits closer and isn't baggy. This wil reduce the tendancy of your body acting like a sail. Maybe a small windscreen will help. Try making some out of cardboard first to see what the effect is beofre springing for a real one.

Check your tire pressure and condition, steering head bearings and swingarm bearings too. If worn they may be exagerating the condition.

It depends on what you had for lunch. Be extremely careful if impending buffeting is preceded by surging.
