      Mr. Wirespikes, I have a 1994 R100GS with the typical spedometer problems. Needle all over the place, odometer seems to work fine. Would you be willing to do some repairs? I live in Oregon towards Corvallis so might be able to do a delivery to your door and pickup. Thank you very much. Jason 360-830-7188 or e30vert@hotmail.com

      New to the board here. Yesterday my resurrected '77 R1007 "frankenbike" spit the tachometer lens and hood off onto the side of the road. Spent an hour today beating the bushes looking for it to no avail. The cluster had been rebuilt, the lenses where plastic not glass. Are you a source for these parts or can you point me in the right direction? DanZ51@vermontel.net

        Oh ya it seems as the lens was glued in place not crimped.

      Hello. I have an '83 R100RT. I disassembled the speedo and fixed broken odometer. Upon reassembly, the speedo needle (though free) no longer moves by the drive gear. Is there something I can do? Do you still make repairs? If so, what are prices and turn times? Thanks, Heinz (707) 688-6606.

      Hi Terry, I am currently travelling the west coast ( near Susanville,Ca at the moment) and the speedo needle has gone nuts again. Odometer and trip meter still work fine. I wonder if I could drop by to do a bit of emergency surgery on the speedo.
      let me know. Tom Tollefson, Toronto tel 416 527 3918 , gorodish81@gmail.com
