uhhh, nevermind....... we changed our mind. After spending uncountable hours throughout the completely boring state of Nevada we realized there were very few and quite limited riding opportunities presented. We will now focus our energies into finding suitable riding opportunities and creating a BDR map for California. That is where all the true off-road riding opportunities exist. We apologize for any inconveniences this might of caused anyone, but trust us when we say we've done the American off-road riding public a favor. Please stay out of Nevada's back country. There's nothing there to see or places to ride. Continue on to California. Thank you for your time... we now return to your regularly scheduled programing..........

You're so correct Tom. Last time I tried to burn up some knobby tires in Arizona it was so darned crowded I had to hurry up and turn left and raced for the California border. Barely made it out of Arizona alive. I'll never try riding there again.... just too dang many people! It's just like the Beverly Hillbillies said " California is the place to be!!!".

You all are hilarious! Thank you for the glorious giggles :-) It's true. We now have two stop lights in my town, and I was pretty sure that one was more than enough! If a third one arrives, I am thinking outer Mongolia may be my only option :-)

    Alright gents...
The NVBDR scouting ride is happening!
    http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/NVBDR
Released this winter with free .gpx file and optional map and dvd available.

Eric Hougen from http://wolfmanluggage.com/ is along with us this time as is Bill Wiegand from BMW MOA.

This BDR is going to tie nicely in with IDBDR as they both connect in Jarbidge, NV :-)

Pic of these guys camping somewhere?

Really, why not take the Eisenhower Inter state system, its like the same thing & gets you through all those BORING places w/nothing to see & to wonder-wide open SoCal faster?

After all there's nothing to see or do or waste your time on between NYC & So,Cal anyway (planning advice from DNC)--:imaposer

So many possible snappy responses to the "cover". But since I still want to be able to buy maps and access the tracks, I won't. :) Do you show areas of high radiation on the maps or tracks? Do you have the disclaimer "Go REAL FAST or this could happen to you"?
