Idea Man is officially not going to be in the Sacto area this Saturday or Sunday. My boys soccer league called and they need a coach and that means taking a two day class to get certified. I seemed to logical choice since I am certifiable. I apologize for bailing on yous guys. It may be my last chance to coach the lads, so bio-family had to come first.
So I'm leaving Monday. Heading to Colorado. Route unknown at this time.
At least it won't be hot or anything.....crossing Nevada....in the summer....:huh
    Whose bright idea was this?:norton

Dude, figures you'd put it up a day after I made a deal on a different one... I would have gotten yours to, you know, keep it in the family so to speak.

I know you think you won't ride it, and you hate it sitting around. I went through exactly the same thing with my 04 GSA. It was sitting, no time, different interests, I was riding dirt more, etc. A year after selling it I was kicking myself, and spent a long time looking for a worthy replacement. I thought a 1200 GSA would do it for me, and that was a mistake as it's such a different bike from the 1150s. Seriously, just really think about it a while longer.

I've thought about it for awhile, and it really hurts, but I just don't see things changing any time soon. I love this bike, but I only love riding it on trips, it's just too big for around town. The funny thing is, most of the guys who have contacted me are guys who owned one and sold it, and now want to replace theirs. :lol3

I really want to do some serious riding in the future, but realistically, I'm looking at ten years out, so, I need to free up the garage space. Whoever ends up with her is going to have a real sweetheart though... they better love her.

You did GREAT, especially with the $$$luggage package$$$$ not to mention the add-on's!

I gave $9k for mine one year ago. Came with a Givi top box for storage and a couple pairs of Hella lights and 24k miles - otherwise stock. I believe got a fair deal after seeing what comparable bikes were going for at the time.

Added the HT panniers earlier this summer. Love them so far! :1drink

Enjoyed a trip to the NC outer banks. Perfect weather and my first time putting her on a ferry.

Hmm... I've been thinking about riding Colorado for a couple of years now. Just saying...
