It's on my list! Thank you!
Just read through it for a second time, gearing up for my own Dempster excursion with my Dad at the end of June. Thanks for taking the time to create such a thorough writeup. If your goal was to contribute something to this site, you undoubtedly accomplished it.
Always good to see another '05 KLR doing what it's supposed to be doing!
I take of my hat to you , nice pic and reportKeep on .
Joe from Germany
Thank you Travis - that means a lot.
Ben from Yellowknife
p.s. you can put your hat back on now
Another interesting RR, loved it, especially because I wanted to go back to my country (now in Holland) but really only lived there tillmy 12 year and 1 or 2 times back. You really gave an outstanding foto impression! Still thinking of giving up everything(whatever that is...) and going there startin anew. Oh well, who knowes?
Really well done.
ps. next time some videos?
Really great ride and report! I am from the Pac NW, and seeing these pics makes me miss it a lot. I see on your map, you came close to Bellingham where I went to college, and you hit the Oly Penn. Very nice! Thanks for posting up your route too!
Thanks for the compliment, but I think you're confused about where I went. The whole trip was in Canada (parts of it not far from the border, admittedly), but I wasn't on the Olympic Peninsula or particularly close to Bellingham.
Absolutely fantastic RR!!
You're just adding fuel to my desire to see the north. I read it start to finish and can't wait for you're next RR wherever it takes you.
Did you see anyone riding the Demster 2up? Would it be doable 2up on a V-Strom 650?
Thanks for the RR and any thoughts you may have on the Demster 2up.
Man, I hate to see this one end! Great job, thanks for doing it!
Thanks for sharing, great pics!!!
Slowly going through your ride report 1 cylinder 13,000 km's.
Good doG, Ben, is this thread STILL alive????
It wouldn't be if you'd quit f%#$$*ng posting in it!!
Great stuff Ben. I just love Australian RR's .
The chap that I met in Inuvik trying to walk to Paulatuk made the news today. I didn't realize that he was this hardcore - power to him!
