Duane and I usually spend every other Wednesday in the NJ Pine Barrens honing our sand riding skills and eating steaks at the Picalilly, but not this Wednesday. Duane's KLX had a broken side-stand from our last excursion there and he HATES the Tee Dub in the sand....So instead, it's off we go on a beautiful but grueling 99 mile ride up Route 22 to 344 to Mount Washington Massachusetts:D

It's about 100 feet from this sign....And we visited every place on it!

We continued down the road and took a right up a mossy single track up the mountain....
It started out nice and easy, but became more and more technical the higher we went..The rocks were covered in moss and were as slippery as ice...The penalty for error was high as wrong wheel placement could put you easily 5' down a muddy ravine....I made the mistake of stopping..

We turned around shortly after my Tee Dub took this nap. The steep slippery rocks were too much for my brain to handle...

In the middle of nowhere we ran into this sign....It must have some meaning but we can't figure it out..

We came across this sign and never figured out what it meant...We hit 3 fences and turned around....We also hit a summer camp and two other State Parks....One extremely nasty trail we took was a sphincter puckering ride down acres of pointy rocks, promising broken bones to anybody unlucky enough to fall...It ended at a blocked spillway on the lake...Oh well, back up the way we came:eek1

We meandered around the parks for another couple hours, then headed home...We got back around 7pm 251.1 miles...completely worn out..
