    Hello inmates

Yesterday I rode a little tour to the Schwarzwald. Finally most of the snow is gone and the temperatures reach the + areas.

Great views as usual and awesome roads.

    Hi Two,
you really enjoyed your Saturday - I used it to remove the winter muck from my bikes.
Where in the Black Forest was that? I know large parts of it pretty well, but your route in the film does not look familiar to me.
Would be nice to try that next weekend....

The Black Forest is called "black" because it is lined with partially really steep valleys which are lined mostly with pinewood forests, therefore often pretty dark and gloomy.

    Have fun!

    Thanks :D

No idea whats black there. We have seen some black snow around, but I am sure it's not because of that.

Looks like a good ride! It'd look even better if the camera is mounted in the beak area next time :D The frame above the oil cooler is a perfect perch for a camera mount! Thanks for sharing your great ride.

re Black Forest, one story is that when you are in it, the canopy of trees is so thick no sunlight penetrates, thus it's black in there.
Didn't have time to explore any of it when I was nearby, the Alps came first.
