The horn on this bike has always been grim even after the dealer modified it with a spacing washer:D:D.... so my intention was always to fit twin horns.. like I did on my 950...so I did a bit of investigating and space is going to be a problem so for the time being lets see if we can make the original sound better ....So I swapped it for the old 950 horn that I kept...its exactly the same horn on both bikes .. the horn is mounted on a 3 legged metal bracket and then fixed to the plastic deflector under the bottom yolk...both horns sound grim so I took the deflector off and played with things on the bench......as long as a horn is fixed to the plastic deflector the note from both is crap..no amount of twisting spacer washers etc. made any difference..so I made a metal bracket up and fixed it to the bottom yolk were the brake pipes are fixed so the horn is in the same place but is not fixed to the plastic deflector... and hey presto It sound just like a scooter but is better than a strangled cat with asthma:clap:clap:clap
