I was at KTM's motocross demo event this Monday at Glen Helen. I met the owner of All American KTM down there. Very nice guy. He said he will get his DEMO unit this week and I am welcome to try it. :evil
It is not the R version and he is not allowed to sell it. Just for demo rides he said. He also said that R version wont be here until 2014. There are only 40 units in the States now and they are all demo units.
I am thinking about going down there to talk to him again and test ride it. It's a bummer I forgot his name, very helpful and nice guy :shog

Our demo is here and on the floor, we will have it at the Howlin at the moon dual sport this weekend as well! In the process of mounting knobbies, bags, and a few other goodies.

Yes, they did not like the US software they came with, it was more of a gauge cluster / ABS / MTC issue...fortunately it is sorted out for now but no map yet for the Akro I have coming tomorrow.

    Thanks - my closest dealer

I had asked him about them a while back but wondering if you talked to him; did he say how many he was going to try and get or go by a deposit/order method?

    Thanks again

Took me a while to figure out which section they are under:

    1) Select 2014 as the Model Year
    2) Select Endure/Supermoto as the Segment
    3) Select either Adventure or Adventure R - there are country specific versions of the model
    4) Hit the 'Search' button on the right
    5) Scroll down the page and available documents in PDF form will be displayed. The owners manual will be one of them.

    Cheers,

    M

I downloaded both 2013 and 2014 versions for the EU R model, then I used DiffPDF to compare them.
The only difference I found was a new chapter dealing with the replacement of the ignition key.
