    So I've been Jonesing for a new 1190 R.

I've sat on the R and I can 'just' contact the ground with my 30" inseam... just.

So the standard might be a better fit.

Problem is I'm not a fan of the standard colour options. I do love the paint scheme on the "R".

Anyone else have this superficial dilemma?

Historically has KTM changed colour options each model year?

Can a standard be special ordered with the R colour?

No, you can't special order the standard with the R colours. What you can do is spend even more money by buying a full set of R bodywork and sell the standard stuff to help recoup your outlay.

I've seen a standard 1190 which the owner had it professionally painted gloss black and the decals reapplied. It looked stunning.
