Does anyone know if the KTM touring panniers will obstruct the legs of a pillion passenger on the 1190 adventure?

I don't know but I think no manufacturer would do such thing. You have to be able to travel (2 up) with the bike :/

Panniers seemed to be clear of my pillions' legs pretty much; she said they were no problem.... :dunno

Had the pleasure of 200 miles today with my wife as a pillion ( stars aligned correctly) and had my KTM touring panniers on along with my Givi top box. I got the complaint that the top strap loop that is built into the cases pressed into her upper leg while I was braking and accelerating. This is a new complaint, but I can totally see how this could happen. I am contemplating grinding off the offending loop, but I'm thinking I might need it for tie anchors when I do my long trips this summer. Any input on this?

Seems like that's already an awful lot of space for stuff...
I'd cut them right off and use it as an excuse to pack less

    LOL. Camping gear, hiking gear,
The offending loop. My wife is a 5'4" and I'm a big dude- so granted, she has to accommodate my wide rear "girth"

Just tie a piece of foam onto that loop, and see if that will work... It won't be pretty, but it will probably work for those times the little lady wants to go for a cruise.
