did you count to Thursday - or Wednesday for the early birds?
I counted to the 15th. just like the first post says. The early birds will be there early.
cool - gonna steal it then...
It's 205 days until RDV :eek1 :eek1 :eek1
Is that like groundhog day???

In-and paid list is updated
I got Cannonshot and BENRON with you in the cabin - correct?
And if you arrive a day early, you will have to book the cabin with the resort for Wednesday night (or I can put a hold on it for you)
Ain't none of them sissies can take it FULL ON, oh and give it back
red bud should be on there somewhere??
Yup, so far. But my numberings for the hug list
Can't plan that far ahead but really hope I can get in on this. Sounds like my kind of event. Y'all sound a little too tame though.
The last noob fella from the Piedmont thought that too. We'll keep an eye out for you, since you're not used to hills and curves.
And what size dress do you wear?
We are quite tame actually...welcome aboard.
Good to see you posting again, looks like you recently had the fight of your life and also bought your 'dream bike'?
I hope all is well and look forward to meeting you in May if not sooner.
Hey guys. Thanks for the welcome. As for me being from the Piedmont, well, that's true but I've spent a good bit of time in the mountains. Went to school at ASU and spent 7 years in and out of school before I finally graduated. Absolutely LOVE the mountains and have a son at Western Carolina now. I go to the mountains of VA every chance I get now and ride their secondary roads. VA roads aren't too straight or smooth...really excellent I'd say. Truth be told though, I'm pretty tame myself now. I love the curves but I don't get too wild. I try not to lay it over any further than scraping my boots on the edge. Hope I'll be able to make it up there for the rendezvous. Sounds like a blast.
Oh, and by the way...I wear a XXL dress. I'm 6'3" and a little, and 225#. Used to be more like 320#. So there you have it; even cancer can have a good side. OK, not really but it did take a lot of excess weight off me, along with a lot more muscle than I realized I had until I lost it. And wearing a dress ain't no big deal. I was in two womanless beauty pagents and wore a woman's bathing suit in one of them. Now that was pretty. And sexy too! For my talent, I was Shania Thomasina, singing Feel Like a Woman. One of the judges was our county Sheriff and I gave him a little kiss at the end. He tried to get away but I had him by his ears. I don't think it helped though. I still didn't win. Guess 320 pounds of woman was too much for him. Then again, the way my bathing suit fitted in the crotch area might have put him off a bit.:eek1
Bring your dress to the rally & I'm sure the Morans will make you feel like a Prize Winner, maybe even before dark if the Mason jars come out early. If there's any banjo music a playing you might want to hide, & if one of them says "You look sort'a like my cousin." you'd better start runnin'. :eek1
