Seen lots of custom wheel combinations on the SE. Most commonly the 19/17". I'd like to run a 19" on the front for my road rides. It would cost less buying just one wheel and also quicker changing just the front wheel back and forth for various rides. Anyone know if a 19"f/18"r would upset or ruin the handling by dropping the front a whole inch, while maintaining the same rear height? I usually run a 50/50 rear tire for everything and a 21" knobby on the front. Would be nice only having to purchase one wheel and simply swap the front based upon what/where I'll be riding. Any thoughts?

What Front 19" rim is that? and Width? Is it a Sun Rim 3.5" wide? I'm doing the same thing to build a 19 & 18 set of street wheels and RAD/ excel 18/21 A60 dirt combo.

The front rim is a Excell 3"x 19" drilled to fit stock hub, custom spokes all from Buchanan Wheel and Spoke. They only sell silver, so had it anodized black. Laced and trued by myself and converted to tubliss with goop. The rear is a stock ADV wide 18" with goop. Great set up and really changes the bike for street use and with two sets of wheels it makes for a quick change from full dirt to pavement RIPPER.
