I found this little guy on CL and wondered if you all could give me some information on it. He said its a Sears 107, but I haven't been able to find anything about it. He wants $150 for it, it needs rings and does NOT have a title.

For a $150.00... I'd buy it just to clean it up a little , keep it around for a conversation piece and just look at it! :clap The patina is worth $100.00 by itself.

Those are fun little bikes. My buddy bought on for his girlfirend, the Puch version. I test rode it for him as he doesn't have an M licencse. Little 250cc twostroke, goes like stink.

You sure it needs rings? It's a two smoke.:rofl
I'd buy it just to put it in the barn.
Someone would come along in fifty years and would have a barn find.

That is a Puch made in Austria. There is a shop in Milwaukee that sells all the parts that you need for that bike. They are really a dime a dozen. I have two of them, one like you have and a 250CC brand. Sears sold several bikes in a variety of CC. Some were made by Puch and some were made by the Italian bike comapny Gileria (not sure of spelling)

That has to be the weirdest looking top end of all time for a two stroke! No wonder it needs rings, where are the fins?

Ducati made fan cooled engines in the 60's. Look a lot like this beast. 90cc Mountaineer.

That's a cooling shroud covering the head. There's probably a fan on the flywheel that circulates air around the head.
