    The front brake is wrong - it would have had the 8" singe sided item ,the headlight wouldnt have been chrome , and the silencer doesnt look right , but as a rider the price is ok.

    That's a 68-70 BSA/Triumph brake.It s a good brake.

    The origonal brake was the same as fitted to the 1950 Gold Star , and was regarded by some as the best brake BSA ever made.

    With soft linings turned to match the drum , the shoes fully floated , and race compound 18'' TT100 front tire I can do one finger stoppies on mine.

    Cant get wheelies without using the clutch , though.

    And no, the 18" front alloy rim isnt standard eeither , when I fitted it it gave me a better choice of tires , but that has changed since then.
