I have "NO" spark on my 1976 Yamaha YZ125 and these are the components on it.

    Flywheel: M100-17

    Stator: M100-17

    Coil: CM61-20

    CDI: Hitachi Type TIA01-06 505

Questions, where are each of these components from (Make/Model)? and is them not matching (which they most likely do not) is what is preventing a spark?

I can get a 1983 Yamaha YZ80 Coil and CDI for a really good price, but will they work with the M100-17 Flywheel and Stator?

    Thank You all

Figured it out. It was as simple as the Coil wasn't grounded well enough. Almost bought a whole new Stator, Flywheel, CDI and Coil for nothing.

What number did Broc Glover run in the 1977 AMA 125cc Outdoor Nationals?

Thank You. Yeah I have to get some pics up of all of these project. 3 Amazing Projects going at the same time, and hardly any pics posted. Also working on 3 Projects at the same time really slows down completing anything. :rofl

This bike had a very very very clean 1974 Yamaha MX 175cc Cylinder and Head on it. It had a very mind port job that was aimed at giving more power across the entire range. The Cylinder is so clean. The Piston still looks almost brand new.

I just boxed it up. I sold it earlier this morning to a gentleman right here on Adventure Rider. I hope you put it to great use kind Sir and I hope that we can built a friendship that will let me know the progress of the bike that you are going to use this Cylinder, Head and Piston in.

Oh yeah the cleanliness of the Cylinder and Piston is a testament to Blendzall and also Spectro Oils. I was running Blendzall until I obtained my Spectro Sponsorship. Both are great Oils.

I am going to break this bike out at the 2013 Hangtown National Amateur Day.

I am going to get the Cylinder Ported next week. And then I am purchasing a White Front Fender and a White Rear Fender.

I am going to ride this thing until the wheels fall off at that event. WFO!
