Heres a few pictures of one of my scoots. It's a 150cc 1986 honda elite deluxe cutdown.
be careful not to step through the floorboard when hitting the rear brake :eek1
The space is much smaller than it looks, a foots not fitting through there haha
Looks like an opportunity for some custom body work! make it a real one-off
Why did you chop it up? Did you lose your Devo helmet so no longer matched?
Actually I like the style, for me looks better than the stock plastics. Good idea.
Originally there was a crack in the front lower plastic so rather then replace it I just took it off. I ended up loving the exposed radiator look so much I decided to take more of the front plastic off. Then one day the roads were icy and a not so talented rider on a ducati streetfighter slid out and hit me on the left side and cracked the side plastic so after a day of hanging out with my friend and his vespa cut down i took out my hack saw and went to work.
Pretty bad when a SPORTBIKE takes you out...
He hit me at about 40mph. We both got up free of injury besides a couple scratches. His bike refused to start mine started no problem. I thought it was pretty ironic.
i want to try this with a helix
Do it! haha
Finished my vespa P cutdown today and starting another elite cutdown tonight. Pics soon to come.
Won't you just end up with a Big Ruckus?
hahaha true. except it'll look a little less like a black lego. I hate to say it but honda dropped the ball on the big ruckus
