    ABOUT US:
We got our start in the industry by producing high quality HID headlights (those really bright white lights), and by backing them with a lifetime warranty. Five went by quickly, and now we're expanding our product line to sell a wide variety of exciting adventure riding products.

We're open to answer your questions regarding our products, or products that you're having a hard time finding. We always like the challenge of getting our hands on hard to find products (Hence the name "1OFF").

    Hey Everyone,

Since everyone in this forum has always been so great I wanted to let you know what's currently going on with us.
Currently our HID product line is mostly back ordered. :bueller. We hit a snafu with two back to back customs inspections which has never happened before. Were dealing with it as best we can and are planning to get product in early next week.

If you have a question regarding an order, please don't hestiate to call us and we will be more than happy to let you know what we know!

    888 225 -6418

Thanks in advance for your patience!

I'll post more info when I get it!

    Sorry about the wait.
We were back ordered for almost two weeks, due to some supply chain issues!

I wanted to let the community know that all those back orders are going out today, and we have plenty of product on hand again! :clap

    Happy Riding!:clap

That's the game plan. Since you asked.... I'll give you a quick background of the company and where we're heading.

We started out just selling the HID headlights (we're a small / young company) As we grew we saw that over 80% of our lights were being sold to the adventure market. This peaked our interested in the ADV market, and once we surrounded ourselves with the community we found that we love ADV riding and offroad riding.

The business has three main partners who work on the business. Myself (Chris), Zach, and Jose.
Zach is a guy who has a passion for most things on two wheels, but it was always mainly sport bikes. I don't have as extensive of a background in riding, as I do for the outdoors. I've always been a huge camper, rock climber, swimmer, biking, anything that has to do with the outdoors.

I never thought motorcycles would be a big part of my future, being the outdoor hippie I am. But then I met then ADV market and realized how awesome it was. It was at this point we discussed a new direction of the company with Zach and Jose, and we decided to refocus the company solely towards the ADV market.
I reeaallly wouldn't mind it if my job was to ride around the world testing and find new products to bring to market. :rofl.
That was about 6 months ago now, and believe me it's slow process to build a whole new catalog of products you actually believe in, strip the sport bike stuff, and rebrand your company from a manufacture of HID lights to the sportbike market into a retail store in the ADV market.

It's a slow process and we're in it for the long run, so we are slow to bring new products to market. Also, I'm no web admin guru so that whole transition is time consuming when you're on a budget.

The bottomline is that you can expect us to grow our line of quality ADV parts and accessories over the next year or two as you see are site becoming wholly focused on the market. We're not in a major rush to make this transition over and I'll quickly tell you why.

Being that I have a lot of hobbies, there is always a group of people that irk me in each hobby. It's the guy who comes out with all the latest, greatest, and shiniest gear. He's also the same guy who isn't very good at whatever it is you are doing, but has no problem giving you instructions what you should be doing. Six months later that guy has left the sport and all of his gear is posted on craigslist. We don't want to become the stores equivalent of that guy.

Currently we know HID lights very well, and I have no problem giving advice on the product. However until I fall off my bike a few more times and get dirty in the ADV market I won't start recommending products on our site.

Paul, if you or anyone else feels strongly about a certain product or company that you think we should align ourselves with , please let us know and I'd be more than happy to reach out to them and check them out.

    Thanks for your help!

1Off is taking a trip to the INDY expo this week. If you're a vendor in this forum and you're also going to be there this weekend, let's meet up and grab a beer. Who's going? :freaky

A new advertising campaign for Carlsberg's beers.

While this video doesn't exactly depict the adventure rider, I get a kick out of it. I'm a sucker for social experiments though. :freaky

I am about to order a HID kit for both Hi/Low beam for a GSA 08, why the price difference between the 6000K and 4500K? If I understand correctly the 6000K is a crisper white, is it any brighter or is it just the colouring that's different with same Lumens?

    Thank you,

    Hi,

Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. The 4500K cost more on our end for some reason to manufacture, so we are simply passing the cost along. However the performance is the same with regards to lumens. The difference in temperature is mainly color preference.

    Enjoy your lights!. :rofl

As we begin to grow our product line we're taking it one step at a time. This weekend marks the start of adding a few dual sport tires. As you know we're a small business and our resources are not extravagant :rofl. So every time we add a product we want to make sure it's a product you'd like.

Tomorrow we are going to start a sale on the Michelin Anakee 2 tires. A lot of us seem to enjoy them for BMW GS models.

Other than the Anakee 2's do you have any special requests for tires, as the weather continues to warm up?

    We have access to:

    • Bridgestone
    • Michelin
    • Dunlops
    • Continental
    • Avon
    • Pirelli
    • IRC
    • etc.....

Unfortunately No... :cry. If we did we would be losing money on every tire sold. At the 30% off we are cutting it pretty close.
We love to help inmates out as much as possible, but we've got to stay in business to be able to do that. :clap

Are you saying you're offering 30% off the displayed price or is the displayed price with the 30% off?
