Bear with me as this is my first RR. I have rode by this road 100's of times on many different bikes. Today I decided I was going to check that road out. Filled tank w/gas and realized that I forgot camera so went back home and picked it up.

Well here is where a shit load of event happened mostly because of my Dumb Ass.....rode till I ran into flooded river and was turning around on the gravel road...Next thing I know bike was riding me. I finally got out from under the piglet and could smell gas. Hadn't picked up a bike since my zipper operation and it was hotter than hell. I remembered that I should back up to bike and grab handlebar and rear rack and just stand it up......I made it till the wt hit and that was all she wrote. I turned around and same again when the wt hit no go. Nearest house was prob 2-3 miles away and I'm not the type that asks for help anyway. So I kept trying different ways to pick it up and it would not budge. Then I saw something driping of the front brake hose in 2 different places. Self if I do get it up then no front brakes.
During all this...in addition wife had come home sick after dentist appt and I had ask her if she wanted to keep her mobile phone in bedroom with her and she had declined. I still made a call just in case but no luck. Tried to pick it up again..no luck. It finally dawned on my dumb ass that the tank was full of gas and I could drain some and maybe if I was lucky the SOB would catch afire. I drained all the gas I dare and got a drink of water and gave it one more try....it made it half way up and I wasn't giving up so I put a little mor ass into it and the bastard was on its stand....I know I should have taken some more Pics but for some reason never thought of it.:lol3
Amazing what 30 lbs of gas made.
Bike was just scratched on rt handlebar end (nothing). RT knees is scuffed a little and left hand has a scrape.
Sorry I didnt take mor pics, maybe Ill do better next time.
Main prob will be Ticker made it but rt hip and back Im sure will talk to me in the morn.

Scratches give it character. Sounds like you had a genuwine adventure! This could be why I sometimes get nervous in secluded places on my DR when I'm alone. Glad you made it out of there.

I re-thought my riding solo when I got knocked off my KLR. Went to pick it up and the back said, "Oh, HELLNO!".

I feel ya! I can pick up my CRF230 faster than I can get myself up off the ground. :D

But if I ever drop my GSA, I'll have to call the Marines or something,
    'cause I'll be doomed. :cry
