    A '72 Yamaha R5 was my first street bike. Being a builder of expansion chambers at the time, I put pipes on it and ported it. It was my daily commuter for a number of years. No pics of mine but it was similar to this when I bought it:

    My RZ350 at the vintage fest at Barber in October. I walked past it once, but couldn't make it by the second time without making an offer.

    And both of them in front of the cabin after I'd retrieved the RZ from the Barber seller. I rode there and had make a trip to Nashville afterwords to get the bike.

    I had a 72 or 73 like that one in 1974 during the "gas shortages". Sold that one and got a used 76 with disks up front used that for a year or so then picked up a Daytona 400 from a friend. No photos but wish I had them all today.
