Thanks to some lax standards in other states.

I have on of these, what year is that? And you got any tips on a runner that only goes about 2 miles before conking out? I already replaced both crank seals.

Check the carb float height? My TW200 did this in the same place about 1mile from home three days in a row before I figured it out. If I waited a minute or so, it'd fire right back up; I was draining the carb before it could fill back up. Man I was annoyed. And late for work.. :D

    also: its a '75.

My '79 KM100. (14" rear, 16" front wheel.) I had it on the road the past two years.

Mine is white/red.................so how did you like your Toomey kit?

I really hate the CAT pipes on mine.

I'm really wondering if I should mess with it since it only has 700 miles on it!

    Cheers

    I love threads like this,
it reminds me I need to go oil the mufflers,
on my 4 strokes so they won't rust.
My 2 strokes are old, but they are not rusted,
I would post pictures, but then I have to deal with the ,
Why don,t you clean the oil layer off those old machines.
Reminds me of another story, about the mechanics helper I had,
that cleaned my tools and they began to rust.
I can't believe this site does not have a 2 stroke smoking smiley yet.
I would make one, but then it would be proof,
    that I smoke to much.
Anyway have a beer and wipe the oil off your nose.

The Toomey's were on the bike when I saw it for sale, so I had to have it. They were excellent. Battery box and air filter assembly was on it, too. If you can swing it, get some Jim Lomas pipes. But don't trash the stockers.

Definitely. Ten years from now, a set of clean, stock pipes will be worth very decent coin.
