    Another Fellow @Derek939 and I are heading South in April.

    We'll be on smaller single cylinder bikes, we're looking for ideas on single track, but are open to anything.

    The game plan is to haul ass down to Joshua Tree the first day, camp there, and then cross over the Mexicali Border, and work our way down to Coco's Corner on the Second day (camping near by if possible).

    Both of us are Baja newbs, so we're trying to go into this somewhat prepared.

    Let us know if you have any ideas for good routes that will get us down around Cabo, and back up. Preferably a loop that Follows the Salton Sea, and up the Pacific Side. We're not picky, we just want to have a good time, and drink some cheap beer along the way!

    Cheers!

    if you follow the shore of the Salton sea you kind of just make a loop and never leave California

    If you exit Joshua Tree past the Willow Springs exit, take Box Springs Rd across I-10 and ride down Box Canyon (all paved). If you want some fast dirt, just as you exit Box Canyon and enter the Coachella Valley, there is a flood control levee/canal. You can ride that south for a long ways for sure down to the exit of the Bradshaw Trail near what is now called the Glamis North Hot Springs Resort. You could ride to Hwy 111 at Bombay Beach near there and ride 111 south. I assume the canal dirt road continues south but that's as far as I've taken it.

    For some Baja single track, find Moto Vaquero's Baja trip report: lots of info and downloadable tracks in that report.

    @jonz

    Thanks Bud, I'll look into this.

    As April is getting closer, we're starting to think a little more about planning! Crunch time is upon us!

    Cheers!
