    Can we borrow your dealers????

Do you know or have a list with the upgrades that a 2004 model must have?? (our dealers are not so trustworthy)

the free check is a KTM ITALY option (also a special sale for 2004 model in december... free europe assistance... 950 italian club and other things...)... published on many bike magazine...

don't know if is possible to have also in other europe country...

the two upgrade are not official required... but are 2005 modification that is possible to mount on 2003-2004 model...

i don't have a mail... my dealer call me by phone...

    Hi,

does anyone have the KTM part number for these 2 modifications?

My KTM dealer struggles without a part number, but they are very keen to keep my bike running as well as possible, the mechanics try very hard, but because my LC8 is the only one they have ever sold they do not have much experience.

I am hoping to be in Tunisia this April as well, so any help to produce a stronger motor is really appreciated...........

    GO!! Meoni

    Many thanks

    Steve

Just posted on this subject on another thread. I have a late 04 model - my first service is due this week when my dealer will carry out all the technical advisary and upgrades from KTM HQ. I will ask for a full list of work/part nos etc and post on the board. In addition to the mods already mentioned I know the work includes carb heaters.

I just ordered this part number and they told me it was superceded by a new # which I forgot to write down I assume this is the old part number but none the less it will get you to the new one

Just go the info from Sommer KTM.

Number ...300 is the completely new steel one. #100 is the old aluminium (probably '03) one. #200 is the bit newer ('04 one) I presume.

So the 60032054300300 is THE '05 STEEL ONE!

Called my dealer. He is going to check the thing out, but I already said to him that I want to order the bloody pushrod and change mine... even though it is (still) not an oficial recall/bulletin!
