I ordered the wrong GPS bracket part for my bike. I ordered the one for 03-08 (60112092050). My bike being a 2012 obviously (?) needs a different part. I could not find a part for this that mounts on the plastic console area. If I have to get a handle bar mount, I will, but would really rather mount above for better viewing. Can someone correct me on part number or tell me I am screwed? I couldn't find one at KTM-parts. Thanks..

Touratech has them for the 2012.

Thanks for the link. Obviously a trick install. This would be my plan A, but I have a feeling I'll have to start with plan B (handle bar mount), unless the other respondent has a Touratech PN that mounts similarly to the install you linked.

The RAM system is fine- easily available & adjustable. I use one for my Zumo 660 that goes right into the Garmin power cradle supplied with the GPS. I put mine to the left ('06 model "old" dashboard/instruments) over the speedo/multidisplay. I made my mounting holes close to the molded bracing under the dash, and backed them up with some small fender washers. Worked great for years, about $25 total off Amazon with some RAM parts left over for other projects

Don't spend the extra $ on a locking Touratech mount they can be ripped off in seconds.

What's the rubber boot around the bottom of the ball? Your install is very well refined and would love to do the same:clap

    Hey Tessier,
That's not my bike, but I loved that install too so I copied every bite of it (well, my mechanic did it...) Mine looks the same, but with the old style dash.
Don't know what rubber boot are you talking about? it's just an aluminum plate under the dash, and the ball, that's all.

I recently installed a buzzbomb protector for my new Montana.
I lost the last GPS, I don't think that will happen again.

Not sure why I couldn't find that part on their website, I had like 9 tabs open, searching different angles. Talked to the sales guy at KTM-parts.com and once Michael got back from lunch he set me straight. Ordered the 2150 part.

If anyone is interested I have a locking dash mountable KTM part no: 60112092080 That was never used. I believe this was a KTM special dealer giveaway for new year old un-sold bikes. It's $220 new but I'll move it for a big deal if anyone's interested... You will still need the 60112092050 bracket for under the dash but they are only $75. I believe it's same as Touratech. PM me...

Would up ordering both parts from TouraTech, they were knowledgeable and had all parts on hand and shipped already.

I originally orderered from KTM-parts.com but they messed up my order so badly I will have to do a return, since it's been 2 weeks since the order was placed. Am I spoiled to expect communication and faster service on the internet? Heck yes, but that is how the world is, if someone cannot fulfill an order and does not communicate back ordered status then they should quit the business and just sell Harley clothing accessories.
