Where is the Alpine Rally this year?
in the brinda's i have heard, hopefully Davo is in the know
Henning is in Asia (laos or cambodia building schools or something)
We usally see him at the Leaf.
His 1 million k boxer got a write up in this pommy classic mag recently (no mention of his new engine or 100 pots though).
I might go, a lot of people dont like "the ditch" I dont mind it.
Been wondering about what the campsite is like after the floods earlier? :eek1
so no-one knows if Henning's back from overseas?
Just tried his mobile - it's switched off, home number has changed,
any of the TVR mob know anything?
Which mag and month was it in Dave?
It wasnt Classic bike, or MC Mechanics or The Motorcycle (no?) but along those lines... it has a pic of two old '60s bonnies on the cover.
All the campsites in the Goodradigbee valley are pretty much non existant. The rain in March has pretty much destroyed the area. The Alpine/Capital site is now ( whats left of it) appears to be mainly rocks & debris. May need a rethink about the site. The Franklins had the valley fenced off at one stage at the road junction because all their boundry fences were destroyed
Might head up for a ride next week & see what's happening
Valley from the bridge last Sunday 30 April
Doon, Just follow Plank and self. We will get you there and would never think of leading you astray....
Just realized what you said in here last night Dennis,
Alpine site is further up the road on private property :eek1
Not the same site as the Capital rally, have to try & get up there for a look next week
woops; sorry. Be interesting though. the photos I saw it looked like the whole valley had copped a bit of a hammering
No worries mate, I think I know where the people live that own the property, if not I'll go for a ride anyway!
Some photos of 'Alpine' @ Brindabella
No word on this year's rally?
Oh great, now I'm feeling much better. Is plank riding the Kwakka? What do ya think about Jingellic Fridee night?
Doon, jinjellic is a goer. Plank on kwakka 1100, although wants to purchase a 650 dirt thingy. Baron is a non starter.
Just spotted your grand ridge road ride.....trying to slot it into my calendar.

Hope this helps, found it on the Guzzi clubs website.
I wonder if Henning's bath is still there after the floods?
Who's riding the silver R65??? Is it VKD56? Loved that bike! Terrifying but fantastic memories of the TTT Rally on her.
