TS Safari do have quite a few on GS and I have known them to offer some little dirt detours for those that want to do so on each day's route. Mostly it is RTs, LTs, K bikes etc.

Actually, at the last one I believe the GS's held the majority. Just goes to show what a great all-rounder they are. :clap

Well, had the bike now just on a week, it's way better than I had expected! Did a 400 km two up run on Sunday. It's endured my run to work this week,
Compared to the 1150, well it's very similar, but just different! Stronger, smoother all round.
The triple black is really nice, I'd seen the photos, but in the flesh it's much nicer.

Thats great. :ricky You'll love it even more when the engine loosens up a bit. I reckon they wake up a fair bit after about 6000kays.

it covered the trip, at least I got to see what days 1 and 2 were like!

A little bit too much of an advert for my liking though.

Just a little bit of an advert you say?
I don't believe it was half as entertaining as Lance's job.
Got to see some different tracks and riding that some of the more special people got to do as well. Did they think this through? For me it seems a bit impolite, rude and even arrogant to showcase or even mention that on the DVD.
I do like the photo they used at the begining, only because I took the pic. and they should have got the full file from me instead of swiping it from facebook in it's lesser form.
The BMW marketing needs to back off! Think they actually did on the TS) so credits due.

I believe Lance didn't want to do it these times around. He recently lost his wife and it has taken a toll, as you would expect.

Adam is an awesome videographer, and I am sure he will learn for next time that Safari participants want something a little more different than his usual customers if he does Safari again. He is normally at the significantly more hard-core end of the enduro spectrum etc. And fark in ell he can ride a muddaboike too.
