Yes, that would be a good way to not have to go all the way into Wasco. If your coming up out of the Deschutes River you can take the little short cut over to Kent and then through Antelope and down into Fossil. But that puts you on the other side of Condon.

Craig McCurdy & Crash, last year in Spring, took us on a route that went inland a bit on 206 from the Columbia,
then near the top of the canyon, we headed South on Gordon Ridge Rd (also known as Fulton Canyon Rd on Google).
We crossed 97 and then traveled Monkland back over to 206, just West of the bridge.

I was on the Mighty Shadow, doing about 35-40mph, if that tells you how easy the gravel was
No "two-track" but really (truly!), a very nice smooth gravel ride,
and Gordon Ridge has some great views of the Deschutes Canyon.

I believe that a KTM 9X0 could (...with enough Red Bull ingested...) ....go really fast near the bottom of Freebridge Rd,
catch air on the RR tracks....and jump the Deschutes by the old Freebridge, where it's narrower.....:lol3

Give us a day a time you plan to leave camp to head out for a ride and I'm sure you will have some takers.

I'll bring a pair of pliers but I'm not getting any where near those splinters. I'm glad you decided to crawl off that fence.

Post number two on the first page has been started for trip planning and rides from camp. Here's the post: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=17105105&postcount=2

I went through the last two pages and grabbed what I could find.

If you want people to ride with on your way to Enterprise and/or when you get there post Where to meet, when, what your plan is, if you want to include it and I'll add it along with a link to your post.

I would love to venture down there to see what the hooray is ....

M'stang I will go wherever... don't really care as long as it's not garage saling.... :rofl (not enough room on the KLX for stuff anyhoo). Hat Point is always a destination providing we can ride over/through/around the snow.... Then of course riding to the Gondola just to say I've been there! Would like to try one more "tweener" ride just to see if I have improved any! I'm with you on slowing the boys down.. always feel like a chain and shackle (sucks!)

Yous guys and gals are making plans that involve thinking!!! Out@&$)(;:/

Just show up at my place at 6pm Tuesday and we will find a killer ride to ? Oh where r we going? Enterprise!!! Like captain Kirk we will blaze a trail thru the final frontier! Lol. As many as can go Tuesday will find the most amazing riding from boring, or not? If you need an address pm me and I'll respond with a completely inaccurate location. Here in cabo they don't have addresses just names of people. I like that. Meet at ass rivers house and ride like the wind from there. Like a fart! Squeeze and apply pressure and follow the stink! Just don't be the sweeper!!! I'll be in panama tomorrow and playing with pilot whales! If you know what I mean!!!!! And I think most of you do! Lol.

On a serious note though. The meet up at my place is around 6pm Tuesday evening and from there we ride over the mtn. Find a nice free camping spot and finish the ride to hells canyon wed morning. All are welcome and will not be dissapointed! Upon arrival we will unload and take a scenic tour of the most amazing road in Oregon!! Camp creek road! Ask anyone from this gathering and you will get the same response, "amazing"! We will come back set up our camp and discuss what went wrong. Lol. Just ask Jungleman. He can tell you!!!!

That's that ! Pm for address and let us know your coming and we will wait till everyone arrives. Then we barrel over the mtn like a group of Harley riders! I mean cops are scared of Harley gangs right? So warp speed!!!!!!!!!!

Hope to see as many as can go. If you can make Tuesday your jettison day please come. It begins then for those who can make it. You will not be disappointed, gaur entered!

Oh by the way Shelley. I'll ride with you anytime any speed. Jeff or not I'm in for the slow and steady this year. Plus I like girls! Lol. Happy to slow down and smell the roses, as it were! Wish I were bringing the ural, but would take a week to get there on that!

Oh and I'm in for helping cook (or prep) whatever is needed. I love to cut meat!!! Lol

As long as ernie brings the captain with him!

Cool, then there will be a couple of us at least. I think I have heard the scuttlebutt that the road to Hat Point is open, although I may be wrong. I have never been up there, 'cuz the last time Jeff & I tried to drive up there in our van, the van broke down on the road to Imnaha. Oh, and NO garage sales for me either :lol3

Oh yeah did I tell you......YOU SUCK!
C YA Tues! What are we drinking? Just bring a bottle of whatever?
