That's cause the other guys were riding in the track while I was having fun in the freshy pow pow.
We were up in Payson putting together routes this past weekend and found this little gem
Registration is open and Thank You to everyone who has signed up already.
Cool stuff... looking forward to the B route on a lighter bike this year. Maybe I'll make it to dinner this time.
Great Video Don ! That trail looks familiar , look forward to riding it again this year.
Here's a few more previews of the routes we have in store. Please excuse the angle of the camera dangle, thought it was set right but it needs to be angled up just a tad higher.
This is 1 of 6-7 crossing we did that day of the East Verde River.
Here is some of the cool forest roads. This was right after it rained...it was awesome...but slippery :)
This is some of the fun trail we put in the 'A' loop.
The ATR folks were out for another 2 days of route finding for this year's event. I participated in Saturday's activities and boy did we find some great trails!!
Shady piney trails.
Some woody obstacles.
Great seldom used trails.
Some wet spots.
Some more wet stuff.
I have never seen a dirt bike used as a chain saw before.
Don, the links didn't work for me. Also, if you guys need any supplies, place to crash in Payson, or help with route suggestions....let me know.
I was "all in" for this year's addition until I looked at a map.....~450 miles each way from San Diego :huh......we'll see.....
Just need to find someone to share the ride with...
Here area couple of videos of the 2 track roads. Btw, I'm trying a new "embed" method Contour has for posting in forums. Let me know what you think.
I THINK IT BROKE THE THREAD.
Not sure but I think embedding the video link might have screwed something up as I don't see the Edit or Quote buttons. Well, if I did Mods please delete and I'll just post hyperlink.
I can't wait!
It's worth the drive!!
Great looking trail, don. Is this the "b" loop?
Thanks for fixing the thread. I owe you one
OK, let's try this again using the tried and true method.
These are the video's of the cool 2 track we found last weekend in the Colcord Mtn area. These would be 'A' and 'B' route stuff.
And then there was this trail. It drops out of the Mtn's on the East side of Young right onto Cherry Creek road and would only be on the 'A' route.
All signed up and waiting to go.
Really? Wow, I live in Dallas and 450 miles doesn't even get us out of the state, much less in the mountains. It must be nice to have awesome riding so close to home.
We drove 1,100 miles each way to ride at last year's H@M out of Wickenburg and it was well worth it. Already registered for this year.
Got out with PHXMAN yesterday to ODO the A-Loop. It is FANTASTIC!! Some more teasers.
I had my own problems yesterday.
