The 2012 OM calls it a "Nut, rear sprocket screw"...M8...25.8 ft lb
I use these on my 525 and they are still going after 16K kms but they get full of crud quickly and you need to shoot em with electrical parts cleaner. My signal button jammed up and when I finally got it free I broke the center detente. It still works but the signal button is vague now. l I like the modular nature of the CEV switches. You can use just the top part with the light/horn/ kill button if you want. light, compact and durable.
I still prefer the Sicass combo switch on my wife's 525EXC though. It's a bit bigger but not by much and it works flawlessly.
Download the 2012 manual. Same TQ values. Don't remember what it is for the CS bolt, but it is in the manual.
perfect, thanks man. just what I needed. did not think of looking for it at sicass. I just did not think they would have one.
500's @ play.

Paul & Geek but the White is causing Snow blindness!
The sky was so full of ash yesterday from all the wild fires... it almost looked like fog :huh
Was Paul getting passed so much he felt he needed his mirror?
Did he signal too?
I keed, I keed.
I was running from this,
She has big fangs!
I installed the Euro switch on my 500. It plugs right in. There is an extra wire for the kill button that I didn't hook up because there's no place to connect it unless you splice in to the current kill switch. I didn't do so.
Today.. hooligan errand runner...
Tomorrow... 12,000ft high back country explorer...
When running errands around town.. what do you think is the bigger offense... catching air off the train tracks or entering the highway by jumping off a two foot median?
It depends on what you got cited for. If jumping off of curbs got you a warning only (as it did me) you cannot count that.
I started noticing a small drop on power, then more, until I was struggling...
I changed several things at once. First final 10m filter was clogged. Add 20m from KTM and back to wow!
Next JD Tuner installed at stock... again wow! I could really feel the difference in low end. The bike is back to scaring the shit out of me... which is why I like it.
We had massive amounts of rain, which in fact packs our woods sand. I have perfect conditions this afternoon and I tell ya that bike rocks....and I aint new to this game...
Just sayin.... from florida
SteveO- What's the wiring conversion for that switch? The wires don't match up directly and I have to splice it all together so what color wires go to what color wires? What about the extra wire in the factory switch harness?
ETA-It would figure that now that I have this switch in hand, Sicass gets theirs back in stock.
FYI I have had the Sicass switch on my 525 and my 300. Regardless of the racing conditions (horrible, that is, fabulous) the switch did not fail. Further, it just plugged straight into the connectors without difficulty.
Ill look it up and get back to ya. Sorry for the delay.
