just because the new owners overpaid 1 bil for the Dodgers means the snakes take the NL West
$1 Billion too much (or more) that's not like that's real money. :huh
I like Magic Johnson's job description...Community Organizer.
So he's like the Al Sharpton or Barry O'Bama of baseball.
so, how about that new and improved tigers offense? So far, I like
I hope the Fister injury is relatively minor, currently listed as a strain and on the 15 day DL
Have you seen the "Cubs Win" commercial?
It's for a game I think.
If'n one of your starters has to down with an injury, his very first game is when you want it to happen. The stadium was eerily quiet when he called out the trainer and left the game.
Helluva weekend. Everyone expects Cabbie and Flabby to belt out a bunch of home runs this year and their performance was awesome to see live, but Austin Jackson was the best part of the first series by a long shot. If he can be a steady presence on the bases, the Tiggers may just light up the score board this season better than any team in the game.
Despite some of the worst baseball i've ever seen today was pretty awesome. I'm glad sombody else bought the tickets. $120 each!
I'm a Cards fan, not a Royals fan, but I wish that MLB would step in and take that team away from that fuckstick owner. They still, after all these years of selling off all of their talent for $$, have an incredibly loyal fan base, who deserve better.
its only real money to me and you.
Napoli took a frightening shot to the head. Dude got up and took his base. What a stud.
Feliz showed that he's got more than a heater, and Darvish showed that he's human. Shaping up to be a great season! Go Rangers!
I agree Royals fans do deserve much better. In the pre- Rockies era I was closest to a Royals fan as any team. I can't stand that MLB has allowed two franchises (Pittsburgh and KC) become basically Triple A plus.
I think MLB should look at a minimum payroll or some other solution.
McCarver and Buck sound like they're drunk.
Looks like another long season for us A's fans.
Have you all seen the new Sony Playstation ad? It's amazing how realistic they have gotten.
No, not the graphics; the Cubs fan crying at the end.
Rangers barely squeeked one out last night.
I was a close one. Hope their bats come alive today.
The Cubs are 3-3 with the Cards.
I made the trek to Coors tonight. WHat a circus. Cuddyer hit a grand slam in the first inning, Cargo hit 4/4 w/ a walk and 2 rbi, Moyer was solid through 4 and the Rocks led 8-3 after 5. Then it fell apart with the bullpen and a couple of unearned runs given up. We got the heck out of there before the hailstorm. Once again a fan got hit in the head with a hard foul ball and left on a stretcher. The game stopped for 5-7 minutes. That happened on opening day too. Best wishes to those folks.
I saw instant replay used for the first time tonight. A Braves long foul ball was over the top of the pole and called foul, it was and confirmed to be foul. I'm glad replay is now in the rules for that kind of call.
A circus! Braves won 13-9. :huh
Wow, i hope they start using replay more often.
Keep te Ump' in check dammit!
Good news on the replay.
Rangers slumping a little right now, but you know, that's the way baseball go....
